What it shows
- The exact x, y coordinates of a single pixel
- A magnified loupe, from 4 to 32 points per pixel
- Real magnified pixels and the distance to the nearest edges, with Enhanced Precision
- Anti-aliasing, edges and one-pixel details
How to inspect a pixel with the loupe
Choose the pixel probe
Press ⌃⌥M, then 0. The probe follows your pointer, one whole pixel at a time.
Zoom
Press + or −, scroll, or pinch to change the magnification: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24 or 32 points per pixel.
Click, or press A, to pin the probe on a pixel; arrow keys nudge it. Press L in any instrument for a loupe that follows your pointer.

Free or Pro?
The Pixel Probe is part of Measure My Pro, a one-time purchase. Before you buy, it opens once for a full session, so you can try it on your own work.
Enhanced Precision — edge snapping, gap detection and a real-pixel loupe — is free and optional. It needs Screen Recording permission; everything else works without it.
Questions and answers
How do I zoom in on pixels on my Mac screen?
Use Measure My’s pixel probe. Its loupe magnifies the pixels around the pointer, from 4 up to 32 points per pixel, and shows the exact coordinates of the pixel in the centre.
Does the loupe show real screen pixels?
With Enhanced Precision on, yes — it magnifies the actual pixels and shows the distance to the nearest edges. Without it, the loupe shows a pixel grid and the coordinates.
